OP Chocolate currently have a fantastic opportunity to become part of our team, the position we are recruiting for is a Hygiene Operator . Based in the heart of South Wales, OP Chocolate Ltd has been baking quality wafers for over 75 years.

Hygiene Operative.

Shift Pattern:

Nights

Rate of pay:

12.38 -13.44. / 10% night shift premium

Duties and Responsibilities:

Be fully conversant with the safe preparation, handling, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants used in conjunction with your hygiene duties Adhere to Company policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety and quality management Training and assisting new staff on these roles Multifunctional role across all departments Monitoring production processes and undertake cleaning activities as needed Carry out cleaning according to a defined method and schedule and to a specified standard Comply with company personal hygiene policies at all times Ensure that the cleaning process does not pose a Health & Safety risk to employees and visitors Accurately and legibly complete all documentation associated with this role. Record and report any problems encountered

Skills

Communication skills Numeracy and literacy skill Demonstrates a team orientated approach. Previous experience working in hygiene role Previous experience working in food manufacturing industry. Experience of working in a fast paced, quality focused environment.
