The Opportunity:
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a
Hygiene Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)
to join our team. We're looking for a proactive, adaptable individual to lead the site Hygiene Team, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene activity of all production areas.
What you will be doing:
Responsible for maintaining and updating the sites hygiene manual including cleaning instruction cards for all hygiene tasks around the factory, cleaning schedules and training records.* Assist in the management of substances hazardous to health (COSHH). documentations.* Responsible for all 'people management aspects' of the team including training and development.* Involvement in accident investigations to prevent re-occurrence.* Assist Technical team including providing technical information as required by both internal and external customers.* Management of the Consumables stocks (PPE & Consumables).* Involvement in preparing for BRC and other internal / external audits.* Involvement of continuous improvement in relation to site hygiene and safe systems of work.* Carry out inspection sign offs following completion of process equipment cleaning/ engineering maintenance. Ensuring high hygiene standards across site.*
Who are we looking for:
Experience in a similar food manufacturing industry (chilled food desirable).* Previous people management experience.* Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene minimum.* HACCP Level 2 minimum.* IOSH in Health & Safety principles (desirable)* Strong literacy and numeracy skills* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office* Attention to detail and quality* Ability to demonstrate and describe procedures effectively* Successfully build and manage a team as well as motivate staff* Self-motivated with a hands-on approach* Good communication skills with professional and positive attitude*
