Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil

has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers' counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

Our Merthyr site are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Hygiene team within our Product Supply Department (WIP) , this is a full time, permanent position, working 6.00am to 6.00pm - 3 days on / 3 days off.

Requirements

As part of Hygiene Team your daily tasks will include :

Be responsible for agreed waste collection Organising rebate able streams Controlling the agreed daily wash processes Keep all areas of the factory clean and tidy meeting health and safety standards, Waste disposal, sweep floors/ wash floors, adhere to PPE policies; Deep cleaning all machinery; cleaning belts, hand cleaning, framework, walls, floors, ceilings, lights; follow cleaning instruction cards according to the area. On occasions in compliance with production, pre wash down the area including floors, walls, belts, machinery and tray wash. Support the Product and Supply Supervisor. Must have previous experience of Hygiene within a manufacturing industry.
