Provide Administrators with note valuations for SPVs in order for them to prepare annual and semi-annual accounts and provide information for them to meet the ECB quarterly reporting requirements. The role requires an individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to take responsibility for the key deliverables.
Calculation of structured note valuations, using pricing model and other data sources
Analytical review on valuations produced
Processing of invoices relating to SPVs and manage total cost budget
Interaction with Trading and Structuring on valuation issues
Delivery of valuations within tight pre-agreed deadline on annual, semi-annual and quarterly basis
Dealing with valuation queries and ad-hoc pricing requests from Administrators, Auditors and Product Control
Monitoring and providing ad-hoc management information
Project work on continuous improvement of processes and procedures
Involvement in new application testing and launch
Involvement in ad-hoc projects in wider SPV Administration group
Your team
The SPV Administration Team is responsible for managing the reputational risk exposure of UBS AG in respect of the Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). Whilst these are managed by external and independent administrators. UBS sponsored these entities and maintains "arms-length" links to them usually via the provision of services commissioned by the Directors and Administrators.
Your expertise
Proven experience in a professional services environment
Practical and/or theoretical knowledge of Financial Accounting with the ambition to complete a professional accountancy qualification
Excel advanced level
Practical and/or theoretical knowledge of financial products (SPVs and Derivatives highly beneficial)
Team-player with outstanding communication skills
Be able to work with a mixture of staff at various levels
Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines without compromising controls
Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
Must be driven, proactive and have excellent organisational skills
Must have attention to detail and be able to work on own initiative
Ability to engage with people on a professional level and drive a relationship
