Hinkley Point C, Somerset

Contract 90,000 per annum

Overall Target of the Position

Ensure effective execution of electrical and I&C erection and turnover to commissioning Optimize the use of allocated resources Effective management of the subcontractors on all aspects of site electrical and I&C erection.

Job Assignments, Measurements & Sphere of Influence

Execution of the discipline works erection strategy as defined by the Overall Construction Manager. Creation of a detailed plan and sub schedule to ensure all works within the discipline are completed in accordance with the overall schedule Preparation and pre checks to ensure all materials are available and all required tools and equipment are available Liaise with Engineering on all engineering documentation required for site erection of the discipline work Ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and adherence to the Site Quality Assurance Programme by the subcontractors of the discipline work The management of the subcontractors appointed to install the works within the discipline to ensure that the works are completed on time and within budget

Education & Trainings

Mandatory

University degree in electrical engineering discipline (comparable with bachelor/master) 5 years' experience in an electrical and I&C erection and turnover to commissioning management function Appropriate formal internal training in power plant construction and engineering Appropriate training in leadership and management. Experience of full cycle of power plant construction projects Experience in site construction execution and managing of subcontractors General knowledge of power plant systems Thorough knowledge within the discipline * Commercial awareness.
