Job Overview

We are looking for someone to serve high quality Ice Cream, present a friendly face when customers enter the premises and maintain a clean and organised working environment.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary skills in a fun, fast-paced setting, contributing to an enjoyable customer experience.

We are a family operation making our own Ice cream in Looe and transporting it to looe. Making sure the cabinet is kept looking good is key and the successful candidate will be given training on how we do this.

Duties

Operate ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Serve customers with friendly and professional demeanour, taking orders accurately Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas in compliance with food safety regulations Manage stock levels, restock ingredients Upsell additional products or flavours to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities Assist with cleaning duties at the end of each shift to ensure the kitchen remains hygienic and organised Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering queries, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

Experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant environment is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell products naturally Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required Organised with attention to detail to ensure consistency in product quality

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 8.00-13.00 per hour
