Role Overview
We are seeking an ICU Nurse with extensive dialysis experience to lead, deliver, and support leukapheresis procedures. You will be responsible for delivering intensive, patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical needs. Key Responsibilities
Lead, operate, and monitor leukapheresis procedures, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centred delivery of care in accordance with clinical protocols.
Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Administer IV medications and therapies in line with treatment protocols
Liaise with oncologists, haematologists, and other clinical specialists to coordinate safe and effective care
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all regulatory and infection control standards
Contribute to clinical audits, service development, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Maintain meticulous documentation and clinical notes to support continuity of care and compliance
Uphold all safety, infection control, and CQC standards in the delivery of care
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Registered Adult Nurse (NMC PIN - active)
Minimum 3-5 years of ICU experience
Proven extensive experience with dialysis machines, including CRRT and conventional haemodialysis
Phlebotomy and cannulation proficiency
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certified
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proficient in using electronic systems for patient data management
