We are seeking an experienced and proactive IFA Practice Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Purpose:
The IFA Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant running of the firm.
The role will involve managing administrative processes, supporting advisers and paraplanners, and improving practice efficiency.
You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of client service while enabling the advisory team to focus on delivering advice.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Management
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the practice runs efficiently and compliantly.
Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and client service.
Manage office logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and general administration.
Ensure all client records are accurately maintained and securely stored.
Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
Team Leadership and Support:
Lead and manage the administrative and paraplanning teams, providing guidance and support.
Organise and facilitate team meetings to address operational challenges and share updates.
Oversee staff training and development to maintain a high level of competence within the team.
Implement and manage staff performance reviews, offering feedback and setting objectives.
Client Service:
Act as a point of contact for client queries and complaints, resolving issues promptly.
Maintain high standards of client communication and ensure service levels are consistently met.
Oversee client onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
Operational Efficiency:
Identify and implement improvements to administrative processes to increase efficiency.
Manage the integration and use of technology and software, including the Iress XPlan system.
Develop and maintain procedure manuals and checklists for key operational tasks.
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of client documentation, including Letters of Instruction and Switch Forms.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in a similar role within an IFA or financial planning practice.
Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., Iress XPlan) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications:
Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent.
Management or leadership qualifications.
Experience with cashflow planning software, such as Prestwood Truth.

Benefits:
A competitive salary of 48,000 per annum, with the opportunity to earn an annual performance-related bonus of up to 10%.
Non-contributory pension (7% of salary/bonus)
