Working on the Wickes Contract, delivering building materials/supplies to customers, this includes multi-drop deliveries. These will be mainly, home deliveries and customer service will be at the heart of this role,

What will you be doing as a HIAB Driver?

Delivering building materials/supplies to customers homes and businesses. Driving a HIAB Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation. Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects Ensuring the vehicle loads are secure in transit. Ensure the customer receives their delivery within the allotted time window. Ensures delivery to correct address. Give excellent customer service. Polite and courteous at all times to customers and road users. Ensure your allocated vehicle is clean. Maintains communication with customers, giving updates on time windows and potential delays. Maintain excellent health & safety practices

Essential Behaviours:

Team Player Excellent Communication skills. Problem Solving Calculated and Precise in your work. Valid Cat C Licence. Valid HIAB (ALLMI) Licence with C5+E. Valid Digital Tachograph card Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC) A general understanding of driver's hours legislation and working time directive No more than 6 points on driving license Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
