The Image Operations Specialist will lead the management, organization, and curation of clinical research data. This role is critical in ensuring that data within the company is accurate, accessible, and usable for research and development, as well as for commercial purposes. The Image Operations Specialist will work cross-functionally with IT, research and development teams, clinical teams, and external partners to manage Telix data throughout its lifecycle.


Key Accountabilities:




Assist with the collection, organization and oversight of medical imaging datasets, following standard operating procedures and using provided tools to support data integrity and compliance with anonymization guidelines. Coordinate routine communications with internal teams, clinicians, CROs, and external stakeholders to support data requests, clarify imaging file requirements, and ensure timely handoff of imaging datasets, escalating complex issues when needed. Follow established data handling procedures in accordance with regulatory frameworks such as GCP, HIPAA, and GDPR, and identify, and contribute to, process documentation updates as required. Support day-to-day operational and technical workflows related to imaging data, including assisting and tracking datasets, troubleshooting common issues, and ensuring consistency in imaging data curation. Maintain documentation and tracking logs for data transfers and imaging operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Contribute to the upkeep of user guides and internal workflow documentation. Assist in improving data cleaning and transfer methods and backend systems from selecting manual to improving custom programmed solutions (e.g., Oodrive, MIM, SFTP/AWS Transfer service, client-based code that uses signed URLs), including writing unit tests and features as required. Learn and apply emerging tools or processes to imaging workflows as directed. Contribute to discussions on optimizing systems by providing input based on hands-on experience and team guidance.

Education and Experience:




Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, Data Science, Information Management, Bioinformatics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in managing large or complex datasets, including collection, organization and maintenance. Proven track record of leading and delivering complex data management projects on time. Proven track record of technical programming skills to create scripts, software, and technical interfaces with third-party software to optimize dataset processing pipelines and data tracking. Demonstrable experience in writing programs in typescript, web frameworks and python. Demonstrable experience writing programmatic tests (unit tests, integration tests, e2e tests) in typescript and python. Experience working with DICOM attributes and (part 10) media. Experience working in a healthcare regulated environment preferred. Experience working with and customizing source control and project management tools such as jira, github, bitbucket.

Desirable Skills and Experience:




Experience in the medical device or healthcare technology industry. Familiarity with imaging technologies, such as PET, SPECT, MRI, CT, PACS. Knowledge of image processing and analysis software, and computer systems validation. Demonstrated understanding of data security and privacy issues related to medical imaging. Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions. Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey data concepts clearly and concisely to various audiences
