Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Primary School Cleaner to join our team at our site in Oldham (OL8). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for our client, pupils and their visitors.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, classrooms and communal spaces. Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation and hygiene. Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces to maintain a clean appearance. Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is required Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently within set timeframes. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with safe handling practices. Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines consistently. Daily shifts: Monday - Friday 14:45 - 17:15, 40 weeks per year
