is seeking a
SEN Teaching Assistant
to join their team
immediately
.
You'll be providing
one-to-one and small-group support
to pupils with
Special Educational Needs (SEN)
including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
This is a
full-time, term-time position
, ideal for a
graduate
or experienced
Teaching Assistant
who is passionate about inclusive education and eager to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with SEN in class and during activities
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to individual needs
Help implement
EHCP targets
and
behaviour support strategies
Encourage pupil engagement through creative and supportive approaches
Work closely with class teachers, the
SENCo
, and external professionals
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a
graduate
(2:1 or above preferred) or hold a
Level 3 Childcare qualification
Have
experience supporting children with SEN
(personal or professional)
Be
patient, empathetic, and adaptable
to different learning needs
Demonstrate
initiative
,
creativity
and
strong communication skills
Be
reliable
,
proactive
and a positive team player
Have a genuine passion for
education and child development
