Role:

An immigration solicitor is sought to prepare grounds and submissions for immigration appeals and represent clients before the First-Tier Tribunal.

Overview

We are a busy and dynamic solicitor's firm, with over thirty-five years' experience of representing clients in all kinds of immigration matters. We are now seeking a solicitor with experience in preparing appeal grounds and submissions, and appearing before the First-Tier Tribunal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully handling immigration appeals cases and representing clients in the Tribunal. They should be an effective and friendly communicator, with excellent legal drafting skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preparing and submitting all kinds of appeal applications, including witness statements, grounds and skeleton arguments, and evidence. Representing clients in immigration appeals before the First-Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal on matters pertaining to asylum claims, human rights applications and other immigration matters. Conducting legal research to ensure up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations, and to support the preparation of appeals. Managing a caseload of immigration appeals efficiently and effectively. Preparing and maintaining case files, including all relevant documentation.

Skills Desired

Qualified solicitor or barrister with ideally 3-5 years PQE ideally. Authorised to practice by Solicitors' Regulation Authority or Bar Standards Board. Proven track record in successfully handling immigration appeals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work well under pressure and manage a diverse caseload. Proficient in legal research and drafting. Knowledge of UK immigration laws and regulations. A commitment to client service.

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
