About the Role

Adam Bernard Solicitors is seeking an experienced and motivated Immigration Solicitor to join our expanding Immigration Department. The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on experience in both personal and business immigration law, excellent case management skills, and the ability to provide clear, practical advice to clients.

This role presents a great opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management:

Manage a full caseload of immigration matters, working independently with minimal supervision.

Client Advisory:

Provide expert advice on personal immigration routes, business immigration, and compliance issues.

Application Preparation:

Prepare and submit immigration applications to the Home Office, including: Spouse/partner visas Visitor visas Settlement (ILR) Points-Based System applications Skilled Worker and Sponsor Licence applications EUSS applications Naturalisation

Appeals and Reviews:

Draft and prepare appeals, administrative reviews, and judicial review pre-action protocol letters.

Documentation:

Draft legal representations, client care letters, and detailed advice letters.

Consultations & Hearings:

Attend consultations, conferences, and tribunal hearings as necessary.

File Management:

Ensure accurate and timely file management in line with SRA and Lexcel standards.

Supervision & Training:

Support junior staff or paralegals, providing guidance and training where applicable.

Business Development:

Contribute to business development initiatives and manage ongoing client relationships.

Skilled Worker visas Sponsor Licence applications and compliance Global Talent Innovator/Start-up visas (or replacement routes) Business visitor visas Corporate immigration support
