Requirements:
Must be
IAAS Level 2 Senior Caseworker accredited
(Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme)
Must be
registered with the Law Society
as a Level 2 Senior Caseworker
Proven experience in
publicly funded Immigration Law (LAA work)
Ability to
work independently without supervision
Responsibilities:
Manage the firm's LAA Immigration and Asylum cases, including appeals and judicial reviews
Handle detention and fast-track cases
Take instructions, prepare cases, and maintain billing and compliance
Conduct monthly file reviews and ensure quality standards
Provide excellent client care, particularly in sensitive human rights matters
Regularly update and manage case information in the LEAP system
Advocacy experience before the Tribunal is an advantage

Capable of working independently, prioritising tasks effectively, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
