Implant Dental Nurse

Location:

Clover Dental & Implant Centre Fleming Avenue North Baddesley SO52 9EP

Hours:

36 hours per week ( Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm )

Salary: 16ph - 17ph

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated

Implant Dental Nurse

to join our established fully private dental practice. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong understanding of

Surgical Dentistry, cross-infection control

and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in line with

HTM 01-05

guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting clinicians during implant and surgical procedures Preparing, maintaining, and closing down surgeries in strict accordance with

HTM 01-05

Ensuring full compliance with cross-infection control protocols at all times Decontamination of instruments, including cleaning, sterilisation, and validation processes Monitoring and maintaining sterilisation equipment and records Completing daily, weekly, and monthly infection control checks and audits Maintaining accurate documentation for CQC inspections Supporting patients before, during, and after implant treatment Acting as Treatment Secretary for implant cases Explaining treatment plans, costs, and consent clearly and professionally Coordinating implant treatment pathways from consultation to completion Managing referrals, correspondence, and patient follow-ups
Essential Requirements

Qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse Proven experience in implant and/or surgical dentistry Excellent knowledge and practical application of

HTM 01-05

Strong understanding of cross-infection prevention and control Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident using dental software and digital records Excellent communication and patient care skills
Desirable (but not essential)

Implant or sedation nursing qualification Experience as a Treatment Coordinator or Treatment Secretary Experience in private or specialist dental practice Decontamination or Lead Nurse experience
