We are seeking an Implementation Analyst to act as the link between our Technology Delivery teams and the operational areas they support. This is not a traditional desk?based BA role. You'll be working directly with teams across the business, including warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and wider operational functions, to ensure technology is delivered and adopted effectively.


You'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from understanding practical requirements to supporting configuration, testing, go?live activity, and ongoing adoption. The role offers the opportunity to work with modern tools, including AI and automation, and to contribute to the delivery of solutions that make a measurable difference across a growing organisation.

Responsibilities



Delivery & Implementation



Support Product Owners in delivering technology projects by collaborating with business SMEs and end users during implementation Actively participate in solution configuration, testing, and deployment with technical teams and business stakeholders. Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), managing defect resolution and sign-off processes Provide on-the-ground support during go-live periods, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth transitions Act as the primary business-facing contact during implementation, managing communications and change activities

Business Engagement



Spend time embedded within business operations, understanding workflows, challenges, and opportunities Serve as an ongoing point of contact for business users to escalate issues, provide feedback, and suggest improvements Build strong relationships across commercial, operations, and support functions to understand business needs Gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear specifications for technical teams Champion user adoption and advocate for business needs within Technology Delivery

Process & Documentation



Map current and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and automation Produce clear, comprehensive documentation including process maps, user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures Maintain solution documentation throughout the project lifecycle and post-implementation Support knowledge transfer activities between technical teams and business users

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement



Design and execute test scenarios to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards Monitor post-implementation performance, gathering feedback and identifying enhancement opportunities Track and analyse business issues and requests, identifying patterns and recommending systemic improvements Support the Product Owners in maintaining product backlogs based on business requirements

About You



Experience in business analysis, implementation support, or similar business-facing technology role Proven ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business users Strong process mapping and documentation skills Experience supporting UAT and quality assurance activities Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences Comfortable working independently in business areas with minimal technical supervision Practical, hands-on approach with willingness to "roll sleeves up" and get involved in detail Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative

Desirable



Experience with enterprise software implementations (ERP, WMS, CRM, or similar) Familiarity with automation, AI, or data analytics solutions Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Understanding of wine distribution, logistics, or retail operations Experience with process improvement methodologies Exposure to change management practices
