Job Description

Project management and delivery Lead the day to day management of the Observatorys delivery of PEADP, ensuring outputs meet agreed time, cost, and quality standards. Coordinate meetings, as well we develop, manage and maintain project tools, documentation, and action logs to support effective delivery. Manage the project teams meeting cycle and ensure follow up on agreed actions. Oversee delivery activities across 158 maternity sites in partnership with co-delivery partners.



Establish and manage change processes, supporting adoption of agreed improvements and documenting adjustments. Maintain a risk register, track issues and dependencies, and escalate where required. Lead and ensure procurement activity is well managed and expenditure remains within agreed limits. Work flexibly, prioritising effectively and meeting short notice deadlines.



Stakeholder and relationship management Build and maintain inclusive relationships with maternity trust leaders, site teams, and community stakeholders Support communication and reporting to NHS England, delivery partners, and maternity sites in collaboration with the Director and Head of Implementation. Monitoring & reporting Collect and analyse site-level progress data to inform delivery activities. Prepare clear papers, presentations and briefings for meetings, workshops and other events. Ensure delivery aligns with agreed governance, GDPR, and safeguarding standards.
