An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
IMS Operations Manager
to join our team on a
15-month maternity cover contract
. This role is key to maintaining and enhancing our
Integrated Management System (IMS)
and ensuring the business remains compliant with relevant industry standards and accreditations.
You'll play a central role in preparing for
annual SHEQ and Network Rail audits
, maintaining key safety and quality certifications, and supporting the smooth running of our offices.
Key Responsibilities
IMS & Safety Accreditations
Act as a key coordinator to further develop and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Conduct annual audits and compliance checks in line with company and industry standards.
Support readiness for annual SHEQ and Network Rail audits.
Maintain company credentials across portals such as
Achilles
,
RISQS
, and
Builders Profile
.
Ensure all supplier and subcontractor documentation, insurances, and onboarding records are up to date.
Oversee the return of supplier questionnaires and support accreditation renewals.
Assist in ensuring the company remains active on bid and council-approved portals.
Act as
Sentinel Deputy
and oversee
FM building maintenance
.
Office Management
Oversee day-to-day office management and safety compliance for the
Beeston office
, supporting additional sites where needed.
Coordinate maintenance, PAT testing, fire safety, and waste management requirements.
Support office administrators across
Sheffield
,
Stafford
, and
Bollington
through regular communication and performance checks.
Conduct fire alarm tests and regular office safety inspections.
Manage sign-in sheets, records, and office safety documentation.
Optionally attend the weekly Senior Management Meeting.

Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing or maintaining an
Integrated Management System (IMS)
.
Hands-on experience conducting
internal audits

Strong understanding of
health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ)
principles.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Working knowledge of
ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
.
Familiarity with
Network Rail
,
Achilles
, or
RISQS
audits/accreditations.
Previous experience in
facilities or office management
.
Experience coordinating across multiple office locations.
