Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, live chat, Facebook, eBay, and our helpdesk system
Serve customers in person at our busy trade counter
Process sales enquiries, provide accurate quotations, and handle sample requests
Follow up on quotes and samples to convert leads or gather feedback
Support business development by reaching out to new potential customers via phone and email
Assist with general office admin tasks as required
What We're Looking For
Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face
Friendly, confident, and able to build rapport quickly
Organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
Self-motivated and comfortable working towards targets
Good IT skills - confident with Word, Excel, Gmail, and ideally CRM systems
Strong with numbers - must have a good head for figures
Full UK driving licence
A positive team player who is keen to learn and adapt
Desirable but not essential:
Previous experience in a trade counter, retail, sales, or eCommerce environment
Familiarity with platforms like Facebook Marketplace or eBay for business use
