The Role...



As an Inclusion Support Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring an inclusive and accessible learning environment for all. You will work closely with learners, mentors, and support teams to identify and address barriers to learning, providing tailored support to those with additional needs. Responsibilities include:

Provide guidance and support to learners with additional learning needs, ensuring reasonable adjustments are in place. Work closely with mentors to develop and implement support strategies that promote inclusion and accessibility. Conduct assessments to identify student support needs and create individual learning plans where required. Offer 1:1 support sessions for learners who need additional assistance with their studies or personal development. Act as the key point of contact for learners requiring inclusion support, advocating for their needs and ensuring they have a positive learning experience. Keep up-to-date records of student support requirements and interventions. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to inclusion and learning support. Conduct monthly workshops on topics including CEIAG (Careers, Education, Information, Advice & Guidance), personal development, positive mindset, and work skills to empower learners. Support learners in building self-care strategies and develop accessible resources to promote mental well-being and resilience. Carry out welfare, wellbeing, and suitability checks for learners, identifying risks and implementing early interventions where needed. Develop self-care resources and strategies to support learners' mental health and resilience Promote awareness of neurodiversity and inclusion across Althaus Digital's training programmes.

What we're looking for...



A qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Special Educational Needs (SEN), Learning Support, Mental Health, or Inclusion Support) or equivalent experience. Experience supporting individuals with additional learning needs, neurodiversity, or disabilities in an educational or training setting. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, wellbeing frameworks, and reasonable adjustments. Ability to conduct welfare checks and manage sensitive situations with empathy. Strong understanding of inclusive learning practices and reasonable adjustments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build supportive relationships with learners. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including mentors, support staff, and external businesses. Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection policies in relation to learner support. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Someone who is genuinely interested in contributing to our safeguarding team, with the ambition to grow into a potential safeguarding lead role in the future.

What makes you stand out...



Experience working in a digital training or apprenticeship environment. Familiarity with assistive technologies and tools that support learners with additional needs. Mental Health First Aid or similar certification. Experience delivering training or workshops on inclusion and accessibility.

Stage 1: A 30-minute Teams call with our Head of Delivery - this is all about fit and feel.

Stage 2: An in-person interview at our office with our Delivery Team and panel. This stage may also include a fun and interactive interview activity to showcase your skills in action.
