If yes, then look no further - our Housing Operations team are recruiting an Income Administrator to provide vital support to the Rent Payment team, maximising income for Midland Heart.



We own 34,000 quality homes for social and affordable rent across the Midlands, and one of our keys to success is ensuring our finances remain strong. Your role as an Income Administrator will be to support a high performing team of Rent Payment Officers.



Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:



Taking ownership of the Universal Credit Portal and Mailbox, responding to requests from Department of Work & Pensions and applying for alternative payment arrangements



Verifying Universal Credit claims



Supporting council tax administration by liaising with Local Authorities regarding payment liability



Producing invoices for properties where rental income is paid by an Agency, such as Social Services



You'll have occasional contact with our customers and be expected to provide an excellent customer service.



Although this is primarily an office-based role, there will be some flexibility for home working in line with our Smart Working approach.

You'll demonstrate an attention to detail and a right first-time approach to work



You'll have excellent IT skills, with the ability to use a range of Microsoft packages and learn in-house systems



You're able to manage your own workload effectively, as well as working collaboratively with the wider team.
