About the role





We have an exciting opportunity for a housing professional with the skills and knowledge for our income collection and arrears management service.

You will be joining a high performing team responsible for maximising rent and service charge income collection to Salix Homes. You will be expected to provide a high quality, customer focused income collection service, providing support & advice in order to assist customers to be able to pay their rent & to sustain their tenancies.



The role - What You'll be doing




Proactively communicate with customers regarding their rent accounts using all contact methods (phone, e mail, text, letter, office interviews and home visits). Manage rent arrears cases and negotiate payment arrangements. collaborate with internal teams and external organisations to support tenancy sustainment. Providing financial and welfare advice benefits advice to customers Prepare cases for court where necessary

has experience of income collection & arrears management has a good working knowledge of welfare benefits. is organised, motivated and committed to improving services is performance focused and able to meet challenging targets has excellent communication & negotiation skills has experience of working with partners, stakeholders and customers with positive outcomes can use their initiative, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
