The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Income Team Leader in Camden, London.

Salary: \xc2\xa336,000 per annum

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Training and mentoring new members of the team including supervision
  • Carrying out regular 121\xe2\x80\x99s and record outcomes
  • Being responsible for the collection of housing related debts (current and former) as directed by the Customer Accounts Manager/Income Manager (Social/Homeowners/Market Rent and HCS) in line with all internal policies, procedures and process maps and legislation.
  • Focusing on early intervention to minimise legal action against our customers through advice and support with welfare benefits and debt.
  • Taking firm but fair action on any customer who falls into arrears, including any legal procedures and appearances in Court to obtain possession of the property where necessary.
  • Managing the processes for Legal work through Particulars of Claim Online (PCOL)
  • Managing and monitoring customer accounts, taking action where necessary (including home visits) and retain a central record of all communications with the customer.
  • Liaising with Mortgage Lenders where appropriate
  • Managing Universal Credit roll out, portal, emails and collating Key Performance Indicators, statistics from report manager, Rentsense and create enhanced documents for the team\xe2\x80\x99s Information Centre.
  • Facilitating delivery of data required for quarterly rent statements with ICT and the outsource company and liaising with service charge, business intelligence and local authorities to notify of yearly rent and service charge changes.
  • Supporting the collection of former arrears across the mixed tenure accounts
What you will need to succeed

The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous experience in income collection, welfare benefits and project management.
  • The ability to demonstrate experience and /or skills to meet the requirements of the role, including commitment to deliver exemplary customer service.
  • Good level of IT skills and literacy specifically all Microsoft office applications advance knowledge of outlook, word, excel and working knowledge of Visio.
  • Knowledge of the Housing Sector and One Housing Group\xe2\x80\x99s activities.
  • Experience of designing and producing performance indicators that measure business activities for senior executives.
  • Experience of working in a team to achieve high performance targets.
  • The ability to build effective links with all relevant stakeholders both within One Housing and externally.
  • A \xe2\x80\x98can do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude and solutions-driven, innovative approach that has successfully modernised services.
  • The ability to organise and prioritising in a busy environment.
