Independent Prescribing Pharmacist
to join our team as part of the
NHS Independent Prescribing Pathfinder Programme
. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist passionate about clinical service delivery and making a tangible difference in patient care.
About the Role:
As an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care through
minor illness consultations
across selected Enimed pharmacy sites in Berkshire. You'll be part of a progressive team helping to shape the future of pharmacy-based clinical services, supporting patients directly in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct face-to-face and/or remote minor illness consultations
Prescribe appropriately and safely within your clinical competence
Work collaboratively with local GPs, PCNs, and Enimed colleagues to support integrated care pathways
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development
Support and promote best practices aligned with NHS and Enimed standards
Requirements:
Qualified Pharmacist with GPhC registration
Independent Prescriber qualification
Experience or strong interest in minor ailments and clinical service delivery
Excellent communication and consultation skills
Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
