As an
Independent Safeguarding and Reviewing Officer,
you will:
Provide independent scrutiny of care and support protection plans and arrangements for children looked after by the Local Authority.
Chair key meetings and contribute to training and development across the service.
Lead with integrity and insight, ensuring that safeguarding standards are upheld and continuously improved.
We're seeking someone with:
A deep understanding of the legislative and policy framework surrounding safeguarding children.
Proven ability to influence professional networks and promote positive outcomes for children and families.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and advocate where needed.
A solid grasp of performance management, statutory accountability, and key indicators of good practice.
