Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
- Plan and create menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes following established recipes and presentation standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
