Salary: 25,440 pro rata per annum (pay award pending)


Hours: 21-35 hours per week

About the role


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraiser to join Willen Hospice in this newly created role to support the growth of our Individual Giving & Lottery income streams.



Starting at the launch of our new three-year strategy and based onsite in Milton Keynes, you will work with the team manager to help to shape new initiatives and ways of working.


What you'll do:





? Organise & oversee the Charity's canvassing efforts



? Support the development of campaigns and strategies to increase regular giving



? Collect and analyse data, tracking performance and providing reports to inform plans



? Provide excellent stewardship to our supporters and build relationships



? Liaise with our third-party lottery provider on membership & draw activity



? Ensure systems are efficient, effective and compliant with laws and regulations


What you'll need:





With good communication and relationship building skills you will have the ability to train and motivate others & provide high quality supporter care.



A customer service/sales background would be beneficial. Previous experience in fundraising, canvassing, lottery or regular giving programs is highly desirable and willingness to learn and develop in these areas is a must.



An excellent administrator, you will be proficient in using Microsoft office, CRM systems and data management tools, confident with numbers and with attention to detail.



You will be a good organiser, a team player and a car driver.

Set in the tranquil grounds of Willen Lake, Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the Milton Keynes area. We offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients and the local community. Our person centred care is delivered with compassion and respect for people's wishes. We have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational and Complementary Therapy. Our dedicated Business Development teams and retail portfolio of shops raise vital funds to deliver this care.
