Key Responsibilities



Supporting early years learners through their online induction onto their apprenticeship programme Working with learners to complete their initial Skill Scan and ensuring that they have the best start to their apprenticeship Providing information, advice and guidance on off-the-job (OTJ) hours, qualification overview (KSB's) and delivery models Reviewing learner initial assessment results and providing IAG on identified additional learning needs Providing an overview of Functional Skills delivery and duration Actively promote, support and encourage the learner to continually update OTJ hours Liaising with the learner's Skills Coach to arrange and book in 1st visit in line with the qualification delivery model, maintaining effective communication with Skills Coach to hand over the newly enrolled learner Manage own time effectively to progress learners including completion of paperwork and updating of learner management systems Promote Eden Training Solutions at every opportunity with learners, as well as all other internal and external parties Keep up to date with new products and services introduced by Eden to ensure knowledge is current and relevant Maintain weekly reports as required Attend internal and external meetings as required Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management

Qualifications/Skills



Mandatory level qualifications:

A-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths
Children's Care Learning & Development (Level 3), Childcare & Education (Level 3), Early Years Care & Education (Level 3) or equivalent/higher qualification
Desirable level qualifications (or to be undertaken as part of role):

Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies TAQA or equivalent qualification (eg: D32/33, A1, CAVA) Teacher, training qualifications or equivalent (eg: PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed)

Skills, Knowledge and Experience



Experience of 121 teaching, learning and assessment Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload Ability to adapt to unforeseen situations and plan work to benefit organisational needs Good ICT/digital skills Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to learn and achieve through face to face and remote media interactions Experience of Ofsted Inspection Well-developed interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Problem solving skills Honesty and reliability Ability to work to strict deadlines Supervisory experience Commitment to Equal Opportunities, Cultural Diversity and the Safety, Health and Welfare of self and others

Full enhanced DBS check will be required
