Scope of the Role

The

Industrial Designer

will increase delivery capacity by owning multiple client projects from early concept through CAD, prototyping, DFM, and manufacture.

Lead physical product development from concept to production release Produce manufacturing-ready SolidWorks CAD, drawings, and assemblies Design mechanisms including snap-fits, clips, fasteners, and moving parts Run client design reviews and communicate technical trade-offs clearly Support prototyping, testing, iteration, and supplier handover

Key Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience as an

Industrial Designer

delivering physical products to manufacture Advanced SolidWorks capability covering assemblies, mechanisms, and production drawings Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding and DFM constraints Confident client-facing communicator running reviews and technical discussions Background in consultancy, product design engineering, or hands-on NPD environments
