Job Summary

Due to expansion we are looking for a Senior Industrial Door Engineer based around the Birmingham area of the UK covering installation, service, callout & repairs on Industrial Doors. The candidate may be required as needed to cover further afield to suit the needs of the business. Engineers are paid door to door with very attractable overtime rates and a guarantee of 40 hours pay per week. 30 days holiday inclusive on bank holidays. The view is for this candidate it to head up the midlands branch upon opening in the future. Internal training to be offered as well as external supplier training. 1 week fully paid trip in Germany for main manufacturer training.

We are also open to to idea to enhance engineers knowledge by placing the candidate in training and extra qualifications they request.

Starting salary for this role is dependant upon experience and is reviewed annually.

Responsibilities include:

Operating from home your responsibilities will include Installation, Service and Repairs on all types of Industrial Doors. Offering customers on-site solutions for repair and upgrade works. Participation in the out of hours on call rota.
The Candidate:

Will have a very good knowledge of different manufacturers Industrial Doors. Will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work alone and also as part of a team. Will be a strong, clear communicator both verbally and in writing. Will be organised yet flexible with an ability to adapt to changes in workload. Will be capable of manual work, lifting and physical duties. Candidate MUST have full UK driving licence. CSCS Card. IPAF.
An experienced practitioner with proven background in the repair and maintenance of :

High Speed and Sectional Doors. Loading Bay equipment. Roller Shutters
In return, the candidate will receive an industry comparative base salary, with the opportunity for enhancements through overtime. Uniform and safety wear are provided as part of the role as well as a Company vehicle with power tools. Hand tools must be supplied personally.

Pay: 16.00-19.00 per hour
