We have a solar-powered engineering shop in Skipton, which serves as our base. This role is mobile and involves getting out and about to different client sites to install, repair, and service a variety of mechanical access products - e.g., automated roller shutter doors and high-security steel doors (generally within 1-2 hours of our Skipton base).

We support a healthy lifestyle and very occasional working away (with a good bonus).

We're open-minded about your experience - as mentioned, we need good people who are eager to learn. While someone with industrial door fitting experience would be ideal, we're happy to speak with those who have experience in:

On-site mechanical fitting Electrical work Fabrication or mechanic-type roles

Mobile Industrial Door Engineer

Location:

North Yorkshire - Skipton

Salary:

30k to 40k + bonus + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

Support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial door systems Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, providing effective and timely solutions Contribute to a collaborative team environment Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Relevant experience preferred. Training provided for candidates with transferable skills (e.g., mechanical engineering).

Full UK driving licence required. Maths and English GCSE (Grade C or above) and CSCS/PASMA/IPAF qualifications are preferable.
