We require all candidates to have mechanical ability, general initiative, good personal communication skills and to be able to take charge on site and lead from experience.

This interview will require the candidate to sit and pass a written test regarding general knowledge of the company, products manufactured and installed and a general overview of the market that we are in.

The aptitude test on the day of the interview will require some homework on the candidates part on our company, profile and process prior to your arrival, should the initial written aptitude test score be marked below the expected score of 80% pass, no interview or discussion will continue.

Full understanding of Health and Safety at work

Work on Deadlines and as required work on an overtime basis

Good Communication skills both verbal & written and drive

Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment

Acute and Punctual on arrival and throughout the working day

Desirable Criteria:

Hold a CSR Card in Date or have held one previously

Have a Full UK Driving License and experience in driving Vans

Ability to take instruction verbally, read and interpret Architectural and Engineering drawings and make decisions at a basic level

Have a Full UK Driving License

Summary

As an Industrial Doors Repair and Servicing Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various industrial door systems, ensuring their optimal functionality and safety. Training will be provided, we provide PPE and all safety equipment, we will also provide a Uniform after a probationary period and tool kit allowance is being developed to help to encourage personal pride and development of our team.

This role requires someone with desire to be the best in a very interesting industry, the want to learn, to train, to develop and to understand how to develop is the sort of candidate that we are looking for. Communication skills will be essential in this roll, but a willingness and the ability to learn how to actually do thing properly is what we are looking for in our choice of candidate.

. This position is an outward bound opportunity and as such a valid UK driving license for travel to different job sites will be mandatory. Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of industrial doors to ensure optimal functionality. Install Roller Shutters, Loading Bay Equipment, Steel Doors as Required Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, ensuring timely service delivery. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions. Drive to various job sites, adhering to safety protocols while performing tasks. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
