Job Description

Electrician / Electrical Technician - Industrial (Wrexham and Chester Area)

Key responsibilities will be to carry out a varying scope of electrical installation works, remedial works, upgrade and improvements or reactive maintenance to industrial equipment and facilities.

Improvement projects comprising of new installations / testing of facilities and machinery working at various customer sites.

Qualifications

Time served UK recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Installation / Maintenance.

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent with City & Guilds

18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.

CCNSG Card or JIB Gold Card

IPAF Card

Full UK Driving License

C&G 2391 or 2394/5 Electrical Testing and Inspection (Desirable)

Experience

Minimum 2 years, experience post apprenticeship in an industrial electrical installation role.

Thorough understanding of electrical regulations and ability to interpret regulations into practical hands on application in industrial / commercial and environments.

Installation of all forms of cable and containment, including SWA, ladder racking, cable tray work, metal trunking and conduit.

Experience of working under permit systems and following safe working practices with adherence to Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Maturity and ability to work collaboratively with other team members to execute tasks in a safe, effective and efficient manner.

Pride in own work and that of your team, attention to detail, strong awareness and adherence to electrical regulations & standards.

Able to interpret and understand Electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Immediate start available, site and industry specific training will be provided on an ongoing basis.
