Job Description

SINTEC UK is seeking skilled mechanics with experience in the installation and maintenance of automation and conveyor systems for an exciting temporary project in the UK. This role involves electrical work on cutting-edge material handling systems within automated logistics and fulfillment centres. The equipment includes conveyor and storage systems, along with all related electrical components.

There is an opportunity to transition to a permanent role on our payroll based on performance. If we find the right fit, there is also the possibility of involvement in other UK, EU, and US projects.

Main Responsibilities:

Assembly of mechanical equipment;

Installation of secondary conveyor equipment (side guards, under guards, hangers, etc.);

Assembly and installation of auxiliary systems (photo cells, air pipes, air pressure, belts, etc.);

Construction of cable routes, cable trays and metal constructions;

Pulling and connecting cable;

Mechanical installation of equipment;

High-quality and timely execution of electrical & mechanical installations according to Client requirements;

Precisely follow the instructions of the Line manager;

Flag any issues and changes in installation with the Line manager;

Adhere to the principles of teamwork in relations with colleagues;

Perform other related tasks as directed by the Employer;

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year of industrial mechanic experience, preferably in automation and conveyor systems installation

- Valid CSCS or SPA certification is required

- A valid driver's license is a plus

- Knowledge of Baltic and Eastern European languages (Latvian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Russian) is an advantage.

Compensation is competitive and will depend on your skills and experience. Accommodation can be provided if needed, but please note that this will also affect the overall compensation package.
