Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Paint Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction painting of structural steelwork and have experience working with various tools and equipment. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of steelwork projects. The successful applicant will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse or construction environment.

Responsibilities

Apply industrial paint finishes to specified thicknesses predominately using airless spray equipment, with the occasional use of rollers and brushes. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within specified timeframes. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the painting process. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain an organised work area, ensuring that tools and materials are stored properly. Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks as needed in conjunction with painting duties. Including delivering items to site Provide thickness gauge reports to confirm paint specification meets requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in industrial painting. Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are required. Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities are necessary. Previous warehouse & site experience is advantageous. Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: 12.50-16.00 per hour
