Job Summary

Are you a skilled Machinist looking for a 3 day week? Are you looking for work in the Crewe area? The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and techniques, with the ability to operate various machinery and tools effectively. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality components. The Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Duties

Operate and maintain various machining equipment. Set up machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tools and materials. Monitor the machining process to ensure adherence to quality standards and make adjustments as necessary. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to manage inventory and materials efficiently. Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing solutions promptly. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of technical drawings and machining processes. Ability to sew is considered an advantage but not essential. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not mandatory. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
Working days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours to be discussed
