Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Industrial Tank Cleaner to join our team. This role involves cleaning, maintaining, and inspecting large industrial tanks, vessels, and related equipment used to store chemicals, fuels, sewage or other industrial materials. The ideal candidate will have experience working in confined spaces, handling hazardous materials, and following strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning of tanks, vessels, and pipelines using high-pressure water, chemical agents, or other approved methods. Safely enter and work within confined spaces and hazardous environments using appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum trucks, high-pressure washers, pumps, and air movers. Remove sludge, residues, or buildup from tank interiors to meet environmental and operational standards. Prepare tanks for inspections, repairs, or refills. Monitor air quality and gas levels in confined spaces. Follow lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe maintenance operations. Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, and company-specific safety standards. Complete documentation and cleaning reports accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about job progress and safety concerns. Assist with emergency spill response or site cleanup activities when required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste, or environmental services (preferred). Confined Space Entry Certification (or willingness to obtain) Comfortable working in enclosed, elevated, and dirty environments. Valid driver's license; HGV a plus.

Working Conditions:

Work may involve exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, noise, and extreme temperatures. Will often be required to wear full protective suits, respirators, and other safety gear. Will be required to work weekend depending on project needs. Frequent travel to various job sites may be necessary.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
