Infant Feeding Practitioner - Band 3
29,651 - 31,312 Inc HCAS Per annum pro rata
1 Year Fixed term contract
Part-time position available
We are currently looking for an Infant Feeding practitioner to work for the Public Health Nursing service under the direction of the Health Visitor to:
Actively promote breastfeeding in the Borough of Greenwich
Offer one to one and group Infant Feeding support in the Borough of Greenwich
Support the PHCN service to deliver services to UNICEF Baby Friendly Standards
Assist in meeting the physical, psychological and social needs of parents/carers/families through Infant Feeding support
Deliver antenatal education, targeting hard to reach areas
Work within the Family Hubs programme and with local partners
Upskill current workforce in the role of Infant Feeding
Proposed interview week beginning 8th September 2025

  • Experience of supporting pregnant and breastfeeding service users e.g. facilitating Infant Feeding Groups and/or supporting parents/ carers/ families on a 1:1 basis
