An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT) at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust as an Infection Control Nurse.

About You



RNC/RN8 degree or diploma level



Current NMC registration



Relevant post registration qualification as required for speciality



Experience of providing clinical advice in relation to the specialist area.



Reporting to the IPC Nurse Specialist, some of your responsibilities will include:



Provide expert advice on infection prevention and control across the organisation



Review patients with alert organisms and support clinical teams with containment strategies



Work closely with microbiology consultants to interpret lab results and guide treatment decisions



Deliver education and training to staff across all departments

Please note that Sheffield Children's uplift pay to meet the Real Living Wage, which is 12.60 per hour.
