As a Infrastructure Architect, you will be at the heart of our IT operations and strategy. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering resilient, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions that support both our customers current needs and long-term growth. This is a hands-on and strategic role, combining architectural vision with deep technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure solutions. Oversee implementation and integration of network, storage, compute, and virtualisation technologies. Optimise infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Lead incident response for high-impact infrastructure issues, driving root cause analysis and preventative measures. Develop infrastructure roadmaps aligned with our customers business strategy. Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

Key Skills & Experience

Proven track record as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Infrastructure Architect, or similar role. Expertise in cloud platforms and hybrid architectures. Strong background in networking, storage, and server virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.). Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell). Solid understanding of security principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate under pressure. Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to ITIL processes. Linux Debian administration and troubleshooting experience.
