We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Lead Infrastructure Architect to drive infrastructure strategy and architecture across critical transformation programmes within our Financial Services environment. This role requires deep domain expertise in financial regulatory compliance, particularly related to DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) and FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) mandates.



The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation across infrastructure domains and a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, and compliant solutions in regulated environments.




The Role:




Define and lead the enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy to support regulatory-driven transformation, ensuring alignment with DORA, FCA, and operational resilience frameworks. Design secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across key domains: +

Lead architectural governance processes, ensuring solutions meet regulatory, security, and business continuity requirements. Collaborate with compliance, risk, and legal teams to translate DORA and FCA requirements into actionable architectural standards. Partner with cloud, DevOps, and security teams to deliver integrated, future-ready solutions. Develop reference architectures, transformation roadmaps, and technical documentation to support delivery teams. Evaluate new technologies for potential adoption in compliance-driven contexts. Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.



What you will bring:




Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and architecture, with significant exposure to regulated financial services environments. Demonstrated experience in supporting DORA, FCA, or equivalent regulatory frameworks within infrastructure programmes. Proven ability to design and lead large-scale transformation initiatives with operational resilience at the core. Strong understanding of hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS), automation, Zero Trust, and modern workplace technologies. Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL and service management best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives.

TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification



ITIL Expert / Foundation v4



Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or Red Hat advanced certifications



Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
