We are recruiting an experienced Delivery Manager to join our global Infrastructure Team to manage infrastructure platforms and engineering projects.

Our Infrastructure team provides a wide range of technologies that are constantly evolving to meet the need of the organisation.

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for one or more Infrastructure Platforms and operate them as Products. The role will build strong and lasting relationships with customers/users of the Platform, key stakeholders, and use agile methodologies to deliver continuous change. You\'ll be instrumental in helping us move to a Product-centric delivery model for infrastructure services.

You will manage infrastructure engineering projects working with the team to deliver new technologies or improvements to existing technologies. Engineering Projects often involve significant complexity, impact, or costs and require good project management practices to ensure their success.

The key goals of this role are:

  • Delivering infrastructure platforms service; in collaboration with the Operations teams, and change activities
  • Delivery of infrastructure projects; for hosting, networks, and end user services technologies
  • Leadership; building strong relationships with stakeholders, leading colleagues through matrix management
About you

You\'ll ideally have:
  • Prior experience in a delivery manager, project manager, or scrum master role.
  • An appreciation for infrastructure technologies which may help you get started but isn\'t essential.
  • A willingness to learn, try new things and push your skills to bring the most benefit to the team.
  • You should be open to and enjoy working in the most agile way possible with people from all over the world.
  • You will be joining a diverse group of open-minded people; you will bring your own unique ideas and ways of solving problems to this team that will make it stronger and more productive in future.
