Location: Remote (UK) - with monthly visits to Billericay HQ



Salary: Competitive



Contract Type: Permanent



Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

We're looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to join our fast-paced IT team and play a key role in managing and transforming our infrastructure. You'll work across both on-premises and cloud environments (Azure), delivering reliable, secure, and scalable systems that enable our business to thrive.


If you enjoy variety, tackling complex technical challenges, and working on impactful projects, this role is for you. No two days are the same, from operational support and incident resolution to cloud migration and infrastructure projects, you'll be at the heart of everything we do.

What you'll do:



Design, build, and manage Windows servers, virtualisation (Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (Azure). Deliver business-critical infrastructure projects, from planning to implementation. Monitor and maintain performance, security, and reliability of systems. Collaborate across teams to meet business needs and improve processes. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IT knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for:



Experienced with cloud infrastructure (Azure) and on-premises systems, with a focus on cloud transformation. Skilled in Windows Server (2012-2022), AD, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, and networking technologies. Knowledgeable in backup solutions (Rubrik), disaster recovery, patching, and firmware updates. Comfortable working independently but thrives as part of a collaborative team. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure. Strong communicator, able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Nice to Have:



Terraform, automation, or other infrastructure-as-code experience. MSP background or experience in high-paced IT environments. Certifications (CCNA/CCNP/MCSA/AZ-700/900). Experience with Firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco ASA), Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Jira/Confluence, or asset management tools (NetBox).
