We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This position requires a strong understanding of various technologies and methodologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that align with our business objectives. There will be travel required to our various sites to provide support as needed so we do require candidates to have a full driving license.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties
Managing Azure/M365 Tenant, Intune enrolment (Mobile and PC).
Logging and "owning" all IT related incidents and updating tickets as required.
Acting as a point of contact to resolve day-to-day Hardware & Software applications issues, both remotely and in person.
Maintaining the company infrastructure - LAN/WAN/VPN.
Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing, reporting, and solving issues.
Replacing parts as required (Printers, PCs, Switches).
Installing, configuring Windows OS 11 and above, Server OS.
Mobile device support.
Contribute towards the creation and ongoing maintenance of technical documentation.
Participating in new projects, including upgrades across Jenkins Group.
Travel to Jenkins locations as and when required.
The Person
Essential Criteria
Excellent working knowledge of M365/Azure/Intune
Experience with MDM & Endpoint management.
2 years' recent and relevant IT support experience of 80+ users' environment.
Track record of providing support of PC's, laptops, printers etc.
Experience of providing support with MS Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
Understanding of backup solutions both on prem and Cloud
Experience of Lan/Wan/Firewall/VPN.
Virtualisation knowledge - Hyper-V/VMWare - supporting and installing.
Great communication skills
Attention to detail.
Full UK / EU driving licence.
Desirable Criteria
Microsoft or CompTIA accreditation or willingness to achieve certification.
Configuring and supporting Anti-virus solutions
Experience of Information security.
Working knowledge of configuring and maintaining Linux servers.
Demonstrable experience of working with templates and other configurable items to enable automation.
