Job Description

A Charity in London are current seeking a Part time Infrastructure Engineer on a perminant basis. You will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components.

This is Part time and the Charity are flexible with working arrangements.

The Salary is Pro Rata.

Responsibilities:

\xe2\x80\x93 Take responsibility for the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance (including storage and communication of data, voice, text, audio and images) and effective use of IT infrastructure components and monitors their performance.

\xe2\x80\x93 Provide technical management of the IT Infrastructure, ensuring that agreed service levels are met and all relevant procedures are adhered to.

\xe2\x80\x93 Investigate and manage the adoption of appropriate tools, techniques and processes (including automation) for the management of systems and services.

\xe2\x80\x93 Make a significant contribution to the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network problems.

\xe2\x80\x93 Ensure that operational procedures and working practices are fit for purpose and current.

\xe2\x80\x93 Contribute to development of information security policy, standards and guidelines.

\xe2\x80\x93 Specify user/system interfaces, including validation and error correction procedures, processing rules, access, security and audit controls.

\xe2\x80\x93 To perform 3rd line hardware, software and desktop support.

Experience:

\xe2\x80\x93 The successful candidate will be an experienced Infrastructure engineer with strong customer service skills and the ability to design, manage, and maintain an IT Infrastructure.

\xe2\x80\x93 Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as demonstrated technical support skills will be vital to ensure that the IT Operations function meets the current and future demands of the business.

\xe2\x80\x93 Maintaining operating systems and application patching using Microsoft tools.

\xe2\x80\x93 Cloud Experience (Azure).

\xe2\x80\x93 Installing, managing, and maintaining server and network hardware.

\xe2\x80\x93 Assist the Service desk teams with support issues during busy times.

\xe2\x80\x93 Active Directory and Exchange Online administration.
