WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our locations.

In this role you'll deliver highly complex technical support and project delivery (including incident and problem resolution) for systems and processes in IBM APP Connect Enterprise (abbreviated as IBM ACE, formerly known as IBM Integration Bus or WebSphere Message Broker) environments on z/Linux.
You'll install and maintain products and services according to Group standards and policies (and to agreed service levels) and will assist with the delivery of projects within Integration Bus environments - this includes out of hours. Additionally, you'll provide technical support (including incident and problem resolution for systems and processes in complex environments). This includes out of hours support.
You'll also:Provide support of complex environments to tight timescales. Help drive the strategy and design across the Integration Bus development and test estate. Work closely with key Stakeholders, drive and deliver against the technology roadmap. Enforce standardisation and assist with improvement initiatives in the team. Work collaboratively across the wider Middleware teams to develop, promote and implement process initiatives. Ensure processes and procedures are strictly adhered to

What you'll needIntegration Bus (IIB) v9/v10 / APP Connect Enterprise v12 administration - Linux or Mainframe IBM WebSphere Message Queue v9 administration - Linux or Mainframe Operational experience on Linux OS systems Operational experience using SQL - DB2/Oracle Scripting experience - Shell

Any experience of these would be really useful:Operational experience on mainframe z/OS Knowledge of automated deployment / pipeline and workflow management (Git, UrbanCode etc) Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources, allowing the provision of highly effective solutions in complex environments
