We are seeking an organised, proactive, and commercially minded part time
In-House Paralegal
to support our legal function across a broad range of business activities. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, has strong attention to detail, and can work confidently with internal teams and external partners.
You will assist with contract management, legal research, compliance support, corporate administration, and day-to-day legal operations to help the business operate efficiently and legally.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation & Dispute Assistance
Liaise with external solicitors when required.
Assist in gathering evidence, researching, preparing documents, going to court/mediation and organising files for claims, disputes, or employment matters.
Handling a varied caseload.
Contract Management & Drafting
Draft, review, and amend commercial agreements (NDAs, supplier agreements, customer contracts, terms and conditions agreements employment documents, etc.).
Lead and ensure a thorough rollout of updates to all our terms and conditions.
Legal & Business Support
Provide legal administrative support to the management team.
Prepare legal summaries, briefing notes, and research memos.
Assist with internal queries from departments such as Operations, Sales, HR and Finance.
Support the development and implementation of internal legal policies and procedures.
Compliance & Data Protection
Help monitor GDPR processes, including DSARs, privacy notices, and retention schedules.
Assist with compliance registers, training logs, and risk documentation.
Support due-diligence processes for clients, suppliers, or partners.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous paralegal or legal administrative experience (law firm or in-house).
Strong understanding of contract law and commercial awareness.
Excellent drafting, proofreading, and document management skills.
Highly organised, able to prioritise competing tasks.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal/contract management systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Desirable
Law degree / LLB / LPC / SQE preparation.
GDPR or compliance experience.

Part Time - 20 - 25 hours.
