We are a boutique Property Company based in London W1, looking for an experienced and detail-driven accountant or bookkeeper with
strong client accounting experience
and a solid grasp of
Xero
.
This is a hands-on, autonomous role managing Landlord and Tenant money, service charges, and Company accounts. You'll be the financial linchpin between Property Management, Landlords, and Contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Landlord/Tenant accounts and handle daily client money reconciliations
Process and code contractor invoices
Administer rent payments, Landlord statements, and Contractor payments
Raise Tenant/Landlord charges (e.g. utilities, works, recharges)
Monitor and assist on service charge accounts and reporting
Respond to Tenant/Landlord/internal queries
Prepare monthly revenue reports and statutory returns
Weekly bank reconciliations and troubleshooting any unreconciled items
Work closely with the directors on reporting and compliance
Requirements
Essential:
Property client accounting experience (3+ years)
Proficiency in
Xero and Arthur.
Strong Excel, email, and general systems capability
A methodical approach and strong attention to detail
Excellent written/spoken English and a confident communicator
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Desirable:
Experience with
Res Harmonics
or other lettings/management platforms
Experience with
CFP
would be useful
Familiarity with service charge and ARMA/RICS standards
