Injection Moulding Operator/setter

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Injection Moulding Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and setting injection moulding machines, performing tool changes, and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality moulded parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor injection moulding machines according to production schedules. Perform tool changes, machine setups, and adjustments as required for different production runs. Load materials into hoppers and verify correct material usage for each job. Optimize machine settings (temperature, pressure, speed, and cycle time) to maintain efficiency and quality. Carry out quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. Record production data including output, downtime, rejects, and process changes. Identify and troubleshoot process or equipment issues to minimize downtime. Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of tools and machines. Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Work collaboratively to ensure maintenance and production targets are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Operator or Setter in a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with tool changes, machine setup, and parameter adjustments. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of injection moulding processes. Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
